A year ago today, on November 29, 2011, Brent and I were nervous wrecks heading to our doctor appointment. We had an ultrasound scheduled to confirm that our baby was 1) growing in my uterus, and 2) that the heartbeat was present and strong. The first was a concern after our ectopic pregnancy in 2009. The second was a concern after our miscarriage the spring of 2011.
We were overjoyed to see our baby for the first time, just a little peanut on the screen, with a strong heart beat and growing appropriately in my uterus.
The rest is history, Nora's story, and our lives will never be the same.
Such a blessing that little one is :)
